Every July for 39 years, hundreds of Cubans and lovers of Cuban music have assembled at the Bohemian Beer Garden in Queens, NY and most recently Schuetzen Park in North Bergen NJ for La Fiesta del Mamoncillo festival. Organized by El Cuban Inter-Americano Inc., legally registered in the state of New York as The Cuban Inter-American Cultural and Social Club Inc., a not for profit organization. The festival is not just a dance, but an event that maintains Cuban culture and history in the New York City metro area.
